HELP ME

I can not get sound, when I try to install the driver, it
won't let me. Says that the driver is already
installed. Its a SIS, but I dont know. One minute sound
was working. THEN POOF, all gone. So please some one
help me

Try this...

First, se if you can uninstall the driver or associated
programs from add/remove programs - it may or may not be
there.

After this (whether or not it is there), go to device
manger and find you sound card (under "sound, video, game
controllers") and "uninstall it.

After this, reboot and the found new hardwre wizard
should run. Now you can reinstall the drivers from your
disk by selecting have disk.

If your sound card came with instructions that said to
cancel out of this wizard and let the drivers install
from the manufacturer provided CD then follow those
instructions.
