I have a game called Might and Magic 7, but think my
graphics card may not be strong enough for it. How do I
see what graphics card I have?
 
Go Run > Type in "msinfo32.exe" > Hit enter.
Click on Components > Display
Eureka.

Matt, the game configuration tool will allow you to run in "hardware" or
"software" mode. It defaults to hardware. If that is giving you problem,
try "software." I have run the game successfully on XP. Be sure to download
the patches by running the game updater too.
