sir i have a desktop and my dektop configuration is processor is AMD
athlon 3000+ with asus motherborad
and ram is 512MB and i have hardisk of 80GB IDE and i bought the this
desktop in september 2006 ...
and now i want to upgrade to my desktop. and i upgrade my harddisk
with 250gb sata but my system not suppotred this sata
hardisk .............
plz tell which probelm i
face .......................................................

You need to buy a PCI SATA controller such as

If you want a larger hard drive without the necessary
SATA interface, consider a USB drive (external drive.)
 
BUy A NEW sata 2 ide HARDDISK card , about 50-100 RMB

or upgrade your computer hardware all .

motherboard , ram , harddisk , A new is better then an old one . At
least produce less problem

Any one of the following will solve it:
-an IDE hard drive
- a SATA PCI card
- a USB hard drive - but do check the life expectancy of these, some
dont last long.
