Hello I have just installed my web cam. It installed fine, but i can't get the green light to come back on. It had been working, but yahoo kept telling me no cam found. But i could see me. I don't know if it is connected in the right USB port or not. there are 4 of them that are identical, 1 is for my printer which works great. How would i know if it is the right USB port or not? I'm going crazy not being able to figure this out. The web site of the manufacturer is not helpful at all. I just need some advice of what other possibilities could be the problem or what other help I can get online

PLEASE HELP ME. Thank yo

Hi Tiffany. It could be any number of things. Maybe first of all it could be
your firewall settings blocking access to Yahoo!. In Yahoo! Messenger there
is a settings tab where you can specify no proxies etc. Try the settings
there first.

Hope you have some success.

It should not matter which USB port you use, as long as it works OK.
What brand Webcam? Does it have any programs that came with it that work.
Like recording video, still pics, a different conferencing program?

Probably should go into the control panel, add & remove programs , then
uninstall the camera and software, Unplug it, then reinstall the software,
DO NOT PLUG IN THE CAMERA TILL THE SOFTWARE TELLS YOU TO!
After the cam software is reinstalled and it reboots, should work fine.
