Everytime I try to turn on my pc I keep getting the following message: The feature you are trying to use is on a network source that is unavailable .click okay and try again or eneter an alternate path to a folder containing the istallation package fax msi. I don't even have a fax . If anyone can tell me how to fix this problem that would be great.

Hi Kitty
You probably do have a fax, go to control panel, add/remove programs, add/remove windows components, see if fax services is ticked. Remove it if you dont use it. Also if you have a stand alone computer, try My computer, tools, disconnect network drive, sounds like it's trying to set up a connection. good luck.

Please explain the scenario in more detail. What is the OS? Did you ever
install fax on this PC? Are you able to boot into safe mode at least? Since
when are you observing this behavior - did any particular action
(installation of some software/hardware) trigger this problem?

I have the same problem with my HP a410e. I removed the fax and there are no networked drives to disconnect. When ever the computer boots it is still trying to install the fax and can't find fax.msi.
