WHEN I PRINT FROM MY OFFICE JET T-45 I GET A MESSAGE THAT
SAYS IT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED AND TO GET IT BACK I HAVE
BEEN RE BOOTING MY COMPUTER, A PAIN I WANT TO BE ABLE TO
PRINT AND KEEP MY PRINTER CONNECTED. I HAVE WINDOWS XP

Please turn off your Caps Lock. It's considered shouting, is extremely rude
and makes the posting very difficult to read.

First check the cable is securly attached at both ends - the PC and the
printer.

Have you tried an uninstall and reinstall of the printer....
