HELP ME! Please!

I'm using W2k Pro and an old application for DOS.

Each time that I run this program, I get the "DOS Error
4".

What's it??
How can I solve this??

"DOS Error 4" normally means your DOS program tried to open more files than the environment was configured for. In the
old DOS days we would increase this with the Files= line in the Config.sys file. On Windows 2000 you need to increase the
Files= value in the Config.NT file in the %systemroot%\System32 folder. The range for this value should be 8 to 255 and if I
remember correct the default setting in the Config.NT is 40.
