hi everyone, i have just bought Boiling point: Road to hell and my videocard, which is a Geforce 4mx integrated GPU, does not support the game. Could anyone point me in the right direction for a better card. Thanks to anyone who does!!!

Yeah, my processor is AMD Anthlon 2400+ ~ 2Ghz, up to date with Directx and 512mb of ram. Anything else? :-)

Im back. ok My Model is: A7N8X-VM
My graphical interface is AGP verion 2.0

Seriously, i need a good web address for a videocard vendor so i can run the stupid game!!

PATIENCE.....All good things come to those who wait.....:p

I'm sure me 2001 is doing his research and sorting you out a card for your machine as we speak.....:D

Find out what type of chipset is on your motherboard, intell, SIS, VIA ect cause you might want to update the chipset drivers. If ya dont want to use a scewdriver I use Bioswizzard it shows the type. you can google for it. some times you will see the chipset type when booting up.
Ya might want to update DirectX find it a Mirosoft downloads. Alot of new game wont run on old versions.
google the card brand to find the site. look in support for new card drivers.
If you get a new card still look for update drivers cause it might have been on the shelf for a while.

Good luck
OOpps i broke it.

having some bandwidth problems , must upgrade my line speed or do less at once

ok, having an AGP slot is good news, as its only rev 2 theres no point going top of the range on the graphics card, looking at the game requirements i'd say a 9800Pro should manage it, you wont be able to run it on max detail at 1024x768 maybe at 800x600

from what i can find about the game it says 512MB minimum, if you can afford it then an extra 512MB would help

Big up to Me__2001, good advice.

9800 Pro would have been my choice as well, and that HIS version is very good, with the Arctic Cooler and all.

And yes, another 512Mb memory would help things along.
