help me please - windows update

I have a problem with my computer, trying to update the
service pack 1...
i get an error msg which states wbemcomn.dll is in use,
and it wont update... i tried closing everything in my
task manager window except what system files it wouldnt
let me, and even deleting the damn dll file... but it
still errors...
i want this update because my computer isnt running
right, and i have a stupid spyware/shareware thing i cant
find, and i figured this was the first step...ive gotten
every other update available

somebody please help me... send me an email or talk to me
on msn messenger...
