Help Me I amLosing MY MInd XP Instiallation

I am currnetly using WinNT...I am trying to do a clean
install of XP, the installation wizard .-.will not give
me the option for clean install. The only options are
intsall WinXP or perform add tasks, install windows xp
link will only allow for upgrade then shuts
off....beating head against wall PLEASE PLEASE HELP
 
You must boot from the Windows XP install CD. Your system BIOS must be set
to boot from the CD drive as the 1st boot choice.

It doesn't need to be the first boot choice; it must be set
so that the CD is before the system drive.
