HELP ME!!!! free up space on my computer C: local drive

have recieved pop-up's reminders (bottom right-hand task bar) help help
help!!!!
Done the following:
-clicked on the icon
-gone to START,CONTROL PANEL,ADD &REMOVE PROG.

but still has HAD no luck.. please help me

If you're out of space, you're out of space. There's nothing we can do to
help with that.

Suggestions:
-move some personal files off of the computer and onto CD
-install a second hard drive for additional storage space
