Which password is that? We need a LOT more info in order to help.

It isn't being "mean" per se. However there's the "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me
twice, shame on me" situation here. No person should be able to "guess" a password in the
first place, to have it guessed a second time...

How about; 10 chars. min. -- 2 upper case, 2 lowercase, 2 special and 2 numbers. What
are your chances of guessing a password.

There's also the saying "cruel to be kind". The OP has to learn the lesson. It is obvious
from the post, that the OP failed to learn the lesson when she had the chance.

Perhaps - but still, one teaches more with kindness than with snide remarks.

No need to be mean.

Lesson's don't always "sink in" with kindness.
The lesson is "driven home" when there is something to remember by such as, what as you call
it, snide remarks. But I didn't make a snide remark. I affirmed one.

So did you watch the full debate yet ?

People respond better to kindly guidance than offputting remarks which put
them on the defensive. We're all new at something once; why make people feel
stupid, when you can "show them the light" in a gentle fashion? The fact
that someone has posted in here looking for help tells us they want to
learn -

I think "clueless" is snide. And PapaFrank's reply was not constructive,
either. You're a regular poster in here & I've seen you give people some
very good advice in the past, so that's why I'm nagging you. :-)

Yep! I love Tivo.
