Dell 9100's are supposed to be quite good - large, desktop replacement type laptops though. Very powerful for a laptop.

I want to help me on the selection of the laptop...



I am a graduate student and want to buy a laptop for my research and simulation program.

I want to work with laptop for many hours in day, as programming, running simulation program like ASPEN PLUS, HYSYS, FLUENT and of course OFFICE and so on. Therefore the speed of the laptop is important for me.



I want to inform me on the best selection of the laptop.



If I want to select between the LG and TOSHIBA, which one is preferred?

Because the LG Inc. has the office in my country and therefore I can use it's support, but TOSHIBA does not have the support in my country. One the other hand, TOSHIBA is more famous mark in the laptop.

Is there any remarkable difference in the laptop quality produced by LG and TOSHIBA?

With this description which laptop is suitable for me?

I would go for the tosheba, and hope nothing goes wrong with it
