In our company we have a Windows 2000 Small Business Server running as our
proxy/gateway to the internet for our internal LAN.

It seems everytime we reboot this 2000 Server, the whole internal LAN
doesn't get any internet connection. Though I was able to ssh out, but it
was unstable. Everything else no one can get access to (web sites, emails,
etc.)

We can access internet fine on the 2000 Server PC.

DNS, DHCP, Routing & Remote Access are all started.

What else do we need to do to get internet access back for the LAN?

Sounds like you have incorrect DNS or Default Gateway settings.
However, without you providing full details of your network
configuration and your various settings, it is not possible to tell you
exactly what's wrong.

This is some of the events thrown up in Event Log. I don't know what we did,
but internet is back up now, from 11:30am during working hours. Like I said,
don't know what we did. Could've restarted that Routing & Remote Access. But
never know for sure.

What do you mean? Our company has hundreds of PCs and our server has to be
our masqurade/proxy server to connect our hundreds of PCs. Our router only
has 4 connection sockets.

There are two network connections in our server called:
External Connection (has external IP/subnet mask, default gateway, DNSs
setup)
Internal LAN Connection (uses 192.168.100.1, blank default gateway, and uses
DNSs setup_

Here is our Services list. I only show you services that are started now:

The usual connection method goes like so:

Internet - Modem - Firewall - Switch - Servers, PCs

In other words, every device connected to the switch
has access to the Internet. ICS is mainly used where
a dial-up connection is made by single PC.
