Any help with the following problem would be appreciated.
I was helping a friend configure his (work) computer to
work on his new home network. In the process of doing this
I switched his association from a member of his corporate
domain to a new member of his home workgroup (MSHOME).
When I did this I was of course prompted to re-boot. Upon
doing so I was not able to log him back on to his computer
because his user name was associated with the domain which
is now inactive.
So bottom line he is totally locked out of his computer
now. Is there any way to bypass this or override the
account association. I have tried a couple of things and
the only thing I can think of now is to re-install Win2000
on top of the current configuration. Will this work or is
there another way?? Help!
