Hi
Have you any ideas where I can purchase online an IEC Splitter where
the description should read:

"An IEC-320 Y splitter with a type C14 female inlet to two type C13
male outlets."

Maplins do one (IEC 2 into 1 Adaptor - Code: L62AZ) but it is the exact
opposite of the one I need. I have searched on the web but can only
find ones like the one Maplins sell.
Thanks for any help.

You've got those C numbers reversed.

Why do you need one of those ?

They arent normally supplied because they are too dangerous,
when one of the males isnt plugged in to anything.

Thanks for the prompt reply. My current PC has two male outlets, one is
used for the mains the other for my monitor. I have been given a PC
from a friend which only has the one male outlet for the mains supply
so I have nothing to supply power to my monitor. When seeing the
splitter Maplin sell I thought that the alternate version could be
available. Can you think of what I could do here?
Thanks

The usual thing in that situation is to just plug
both the PC and the monitor into a plug strip.

Just plug the PC and the monitor into a plug strip/power board.
You should be able to use a standard IEC mains cord for the monitor.
