Have installed a HP psc-1210 all in one printer, scanner and copier, the
problem is when I print from Outlook Express the heading of the message in
it font size of about 7,8 or 9, the body of the message in fount size about
14 or 16 using up way to much ink and paper. I can change the font size in
MS Word and WordPad but can't figure out to change the font size in OE.
Thanks for any help. Harry

H. E. ;
OE uses the Internet Explorer print engine, so you have to configure IE for
printing before you print in OE. To do that, open Internet Explorer and click
File | Page Setup.
The print font size is also affected by Internet Explorer. If the font is
too large or too small, change the text size in Internet Explorer by clicking
View | Text Size and then try printing again.

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Hi Wes, Bingo, that took care of the problem, the dam thing was going
through ink and paper like I had stock in HP and after fussing with Tech
Support for two (2) days I was ready to return the machine. Again thanks
for the fast fix. Harry

H. E.;
You're welcome. Under the I........19.
My experience with tech support has been a mixed bag. Some good, some bad.
I have had some good luck with Gateway. Bad luck with HP.
It seems that if they can't look it up in their 'book', they don't know
what to do. Except refer you to the order desk. :-)
When I upraded to XP, and the display was not right, Gateway said I would
need a new monitor. I changed the refresh rate and that fixed my problem. I
should mention that I found that tip at this NG.
Another interesting sidebar; one time, when I had AOL, I called their 800
number. I talked to the tech for about five minutes and he asked me where I
was located. I told him. He said that was were he was at. I said, "Well get
over here and fix this. I am a mile from you." I will also mention that the
company here that provides tech support for various outfits, pays minimum wage.

Hi Wes, How do you get a hundred cows in a barn? You hang up a bingo sign!.
U are sure right about the tech support, I had very good service with
Gateway until I switch from W98 to XP, had lifetime support on the W98 when
I got this puter in 96 and liked the service but I have noticed that a lot
of the puter companies have switched their tech service to Indians and I
have a hell of a time trying to understand them. Again thanks for the fix
and the web page. Harry

Harry;
You're welcome. Yes, a lot of companies are moving support to India or
Pakistan or somewhere. Not to take anything away from these people, i.e. their
knowledge, it would be helpful if they spoke English.
Why is it that most towns seem to be named after their water towers?

Think I will back out of this. Thanks Wes.
