Help - Just upgraded to Windows 2000xp

I just purchased this product and now I cann't find any
of my previously installed programs. Where did they go
and how do I get them back. There not listed anywheres
on my computer under anything. I have an awful lot of
reads and files that I now cann't find. Why?

you can't have upgraded to Windows 2000xp - there ain't such a thing.

Presumably you changed to Windows XP? Did you do an Upgrade Install or a
Clean Install and from what OS?
 
A clean install of XP is preceded by a format of the partition that the OS
will be installed on.. anything on that drive will be wiped out.. always
back up or copy important stuff to another drive/cd/floppy..
