Control Panel > Display Properties > Screen Saver tab > remove the
checkmark from 'On resume, display Welcome screen'

You're not being logged out...you're just being returned to the Welcome
screen, where you'll need to enter your password to return to your desktop.

It's a handy security feature for when you're away from your desktop
while the screen saver is running. Otherwise, anyone can touch a key on
your keyboard of nudge your mouse and use your computer.

Are you subject to group policy? (Is this your at-work computer?) If so,
the behavior is controlled by your system administrator.

No group policy, it is work though. It's a small company. I am logged in as
administrator.

There is likely a network administrator above you who is controlling the
policy. It's a matter of security and well within their rights and
responsibilities.

This is the only one one the network that does it, and I am the network
administrator and owner of the company. I have a fair amount of knowledge
working with Win2k but am new to XP. I've looked through everything I can
think of and cannot find anything to do with this except your first thought.
Any others, Please? Thank You.
