Help! Insert Menu..

This would depend entirely on the program you are using and what you are
trying to insert.

If you happen to use Outlook Express, to insert an attachment to an email
you simply have to click on the Insert word when you are in the Create Mail
window at the top of the screen and a drop down list appears. If you wanted
to insert a picture into Word or PowerPoint you chose Insert and what you
wanted to insert the basic same way. Since you are using the web interface,
I don't know how your "email" client accepts a picture, etc.

(I am not trying to belittle anyone here but) Most programs have something
called Help. It is accessed by clicking on the word Help at the top of the
screen or in some cases by pressing the F1 key. The program will then
normally give you a search function into which you would type the words
Insert or Insert menu into and then click on Go or Search, etc. You may
have to search around some to find your answers but they probably are there.

If you tell us the program you are using and exactly what you are trying to
insert, we also may be of further assistance.

How do I find the "Insert Menu"?

Sorry, but your question is like asking "how do I find Washington Street?"
If you don't specify in what city and where you're starting from, nobody can
help you.

In what program? For what purpose? Exactly what are you trying to
accomplish?

How do I find the "Insert Menu"?

Hi Cheryl.....For clarity, I've copied/pasted your previous message here:

"I am trying to learn how to creat a link for web related chats or for
emails.
All instructions I can (finally ) find keep referring to the "Insert Menu"
....."just click on the Insert Menu...." WHERE DO I FIND THAT?! Sorry, I'm
VERY frustrated. I remember some time ago seeing an option on my "Tools"
for
"Insert Link" but cannot find it now......"

I Think I understand your question, so I'll give it a try. When you open a
new message (or Reply to another), you are presented with new options.
Along the top menu, you will see File, Edit, View, Insert, etc. That is
where you find the Insert menu....where you can Insert various things, some
of which may be grayed out, if you are posting to a text only group such as
this (Or, possibly, have your mail set up to only send/receive text vs
HTML).

Other than inserting actual files (such as pic.s, Word/Works documents,
etc), I find it easiest to simply copy the addy from the browser's Address
bar, while viewing the page.....or typing in the e-mail (or whatever)
address.....& paste it into the body of the message.

Hope this has answered your question.....
