HELP!-Information RIghts Management and Word 203

I need help. I applied information management to a local
document using my passport on a local file. I now get an
error about contacting my sysadmin when I try to open the
file. How do I get the file to open when I am signed in
with the correct passport?

Could you explain the exact steps you used to apply this
protection?

In general terms, IRM (where you set person's names
explicitly) can only work if there's a server in the
background that verifies the names. The "owner" of a file
always has permissions (on the same machine where it was
created), and that can work without the verification server,
as can the setting "Everyone".

If you didn't use such a server, I'm surprised you were able
to set your passport at all...
