help in upgrade

Hello my issue is to i cannot install the new internet explorer beta ; come a
window to i need to reboot and check the trosubleshoot icon in mydesktop
after I open they gave me a lot of information about how to reset my Registry
and personaly it is too much it is another way to do it ...?? please help

Thanks for the response , I will try to follow this instructions but I can
tell ; this is beyond my knowleage ....I think it is too much ....Internet
Explorer suppoused to have another solution and not all this fixing
instructions in my opinion it is not acceptable . Thanks anyway
 
Hello sir I just check the IE7 blog and have soem recomendations about this
dilema:

"It happens to the best of us - IE7 Release Candidate install failure
100% reproducible. Try to install IE7 RC1 using a different user account to
that which was used to install the previous build of IE7 and the installer
goes boom.

The fix? Log in as the original user and you're good to go. "

Can I ask what user ...??? means the user (me) owner if the pc. when log to
my pc ..???? or what user he is talking about , I'm the owner of this pc
(home) ..sorry for this question but I'm not a expert mand thanks

What firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs are you using? Include
version numbers.
 
I'm using Norton antivirus(2005) , zone alarm PRO (this software I just
installed) , I have this issue way before I installed zone alarm , also when
I try to upgarde mi IE I disabled both , thanks.
 
Disconnect from the Internet.
Uninstall Zone Alarm.
Turn on the Windows Firewawll.
Install IE7 RC1.
Afterwards you can reinstall Zone Alarm if you really want to.
