HELP: imported MPG does not play in PPT, it plays in WinDVD tho

I have an MPG that I have created and want to have it auto start in
Powerpoint. It will not play. When I play it in Win DVD it plays just fine.
Any fix?
 
Thank you for responding. I've installed the program but it still isn't
playing. do I need to reboot for it to take affect? Also, was there one in
particular that I should try?
