Help Im having problems with my internet explorer it keeps telling me that it has to close because it has encountered an error and it keeps telling me to "click here" for more information on the error. At the end I end up getting a window in which it tells me all the techinal report of the error and it tells me that a file is part of the error and it gives me the file name this is the one I got today:

C:\DOCUME~1\MARINA\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER26.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt

For some reason the numbers after the WER keep changing every time and sometimes it has a capital letter after the number. I have tried to go to the file but my computer does not find it or I am unable to get into it.
If you have any information that could help me to find the problem or you know what the problem is please write back
Thank you

Hi Marina,

The file itself is just the report you are being prompted to send. If you
want to see what is going on, start/run eventvwr.msc and check the system
and application logs.

You may find it quicker to simply reinstall Internet Explorer by
right-clicking the ie.inf file under C:\Windows\Inf and selecting install.
