Help, I'm getting desperate

I am having difficulty with a Win2k terminal server in application mode. For whatever reason, after apply new patches/windows updates, non-administrator users can no longer connect to the system. They just get the blue screen/desktop wallpaper and it never gets to their desktop. Once I give them administrative rights, no problem (expect they could really hose things up there). Could someone please help ASAP? Thanks

are you launching an app in the environment tab? or giving them the
desktop?

Make sure you have the users groups in the log on locally
setting on the servers local security policy
