Can someone confirm if my no spam alias is set up correctly to get answers
to questions. I have been talking to the concierge for over a week to get an
answer to a question. Each time I am told to update my no spam alias and wait
2 business days.

I have paid for MSDN for the last 3 years and don't ask too many questions,
infact I keep being told that the alias expired in May.

I am getting really fed up with waiting 2 business days to find out that my
question will not be answered, so would appreciate it if someone from MS
would just acknowledge this post and confirm if I should now get answers.

If not I would appreciate any advice on how to get this sorted out, as the
concierge does not seem able to easily sort it for me.

BTW the question which I have posted is:

Many thanks,
Richard

This is a volunteer newsgroup, you know. You don't pay. There are responses
to your other posts here. Who the heck is a concierge? That guy in the front
lobby in your hotel probably doesn't know too much about ASP.NET (a little
joke there)

So what have you tried? What isn't working.

Hi Richard,

I think your nospam alias has been correctly configured now since this
thread is correctly marked as a managed post. If you encounter any further
problem later, welcome to send them to the "contact us" center for help.

Sincerely,

Steven Cheng

Thanks Steven,

My post has now been answered, so it would appear that I am now back
working. Thanks for taking the time to respond to this post.

Jeff,

For your information, If you take out a MSDN
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/default.aspx) or TechNet
(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/default.aspx) subscription then you can
get your wuestions on the microsoft managed newsgroups answered within 2
business days.

Of course often volunteers answer questions, but if you have a difficult or
perhaps other question which volunteers do not answer, then this adds
another layer to ensure that you do not have the frustration of not getting
answers that help you move on.

Richard
