Strangely, now when I try and use the handy IE
quicksearch function (you know, the one where you can
define a shortcut to go to the search engine of your
choice), it doesn't work.
Example: I defined "G" to equal -->
http://www.google.com/search?q=%s
I used to be able to type "G cars" and it would
automatically do a google search for Cars. NOW, instead,
it appears to try and open the wensite "http://G cars"
and of course fails.
QUESTIONS:
1) How did my quick search functions get disabled?
2) Is there some .EXE that runs at startup to enable it?
WHAT I TRIED:
1) Scanned for Spyware
2) Ran virus check
3) Looked for "MyWeb" spyware program which hijacks
search functions = nothing there.
HELP! Please reply via email to the address above,
thanks.
