HELP!! IE And outlook express problems.

Nick

I lost Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. I have
XP.. First off i went to Disk Cleanup and then the second
tab called More Options. The top section is Windows
components. i clicked on Clean up.. then in there i
unselected all the Components except MSN Explorer, i
thought i was just an extra component that i didn't need
and I dont' use MSN to get my e-mail. Then after i did
that i saw that Internet Explorer and Outlook Express were
gone from the desktop. I have tried to install the newest
version of Internet Explorer (Internet Explorer 6 Service
Pack 1) but when i do it tells me i have the newest
version. I can still use Internet Explorer but i cann't
find any shortcuts or even the Internext Explorer
exe So now i decided i should uninstall Internet
explorer and then try to install it but yet again.. it
said the same thing, that i had newer version, someone
please help me.

All you have lost is the shortcuts.

Click on My Computer to access your files. Go to disk C,
to Program files, to Internet Explorer. right click on
ieexplore.exe, choose send to desktop as shortcut. You
can then drag the shortcut onto start to have it appear
on the start menu.
