Joyce I just upgraded from Vistas "windows mail" and I lost everything! All
my addresses, all my "Saved mail" this pretty much just wiped ou everything I
had in my windows mail and I cannot figure out how to get it back. Can
someone help us out??? Thanks, Tom.

Joyce,

Give us a bit of help. How did you lose it? Did you wipe out your hard
drive? Did you buy a new computer?
Can you search the hard drive for outlook*.pst ? If you find that, open
Outlook and choose Open from the File drop down menu, then click on Outlook
Data File... browse to the .pst and you are on your way.

Tom,

Does Window Mail still have the information? What did you do to "upgrade?"
Did you export from Windows Mail? Did you attempt to import to Office
Outlook? Did you upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista?

Explain your actions so that we have a chance of assisting you.

I searched and nothing came up. I don't know how I lost it. I kept getting
popups and canceling those without reading them as well as I should have and
that was probably my mistake. What they were I don't remember. I have changed
nothing on the computer, no new programs, etc. I have restored it to a later
date and that did not help. I know the email is backed up because once a week
I get a reminder but I have no way to know where it is stored and how to get
to it. I have opened file after file, even the recycle bin and nothing.
Any and all help is deeply appreciated.
