Help! I deleted a field!

I just removed a field from a table in Access 97. By doing this I
lost the data in this field. Is there any way to recover this data?

Sure -- go get the backup copy of the database and obtain the data from it.

If you don't have a backup copy of the database, then it's possible that a
professional service can extract the data for you if you haven't compacted
the file since you deleted the field. There are a number of posts in the
newsgroups for places that do this for a fee; here is a sample Google.com
