I can't run a fix for IE so I can use it on my computer. I am currently
using Netscape 7.1. I have IE on my system (under program files), but cannot
use it without getting an error message.

When I try to download an updated version, or a fix, nothing happens when I
click on the link to download.

Can anyone help???? Please???????

Barbara

This is the FIRST time I posted on the "general" board. I did, however,
post ONE OTHER TIME on the IE Outlook discussion group. I think you have me
mixed up with someone else. Sorry to have bothered you, Nass. I will look
for solutions elsewhere.

I do not think you know where you have been posting as you are using that
frightful/slow/archaic/cruddy web interface discussion group - so for the
last time, see below-
You have been asked to supply additional info and have not and you have been
directed to the CORRECT group for help and you have not gone there.

IE7 questions should be posted to the Internet Explorer General newsgroup as
below -

In your Newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

If you need to use the Web Interface -
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...?dg=microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

This is not the "general board", whatever that is supposed to be.

Why not try using a newsreader:

In Outlook Express go to Tools | Accounts | Add (or New) | News.
Set up an account for this news server:

msnews.microsoft.com

The server is free and does not require you to logon. This news server
carries over 2200 newsgroups related to Microsoft products and keeps
messages at least 30 days.

Hi Barbara,
It isn't my NG to do that, please if I said what I said, it was for your own
interest I have no benefit to offend you in any way.

If you didn't povide More Info about your Problem and respond to the helper
by saying yes it did work or it didn't nobody will know to what stage your
issue is going.
Regards,
nass

Thank you. I will check it out.
