OK, here's what I did.....

Took one of the computers from work home and tried to join a home workgroup
(WG1). When I did so, it asked me for an admin name and password, which I
gave it. Then it said I'd have to reboot to join the workgroup. When I
rebooted, I couldn't log on as ANYBODY, including the admin or ANY user.

WHAT DO I DO? I'm almost in tears!

Go to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/ and download the boot
disk, this will enable you to reset any system password on an NT class
operating system.

Multiposted. Please don't do this again as you will get *less* help.

You've already gotten detailed answers to the post you made in
microsoft.public.security. Go back to that thread and read the answers.
If you can't find your post, use Google Groups Advanced Search and
search for your name.

GreenieLeBrun,

Thanks for your help. What I did is basically what you suggested. I ran a
utility to enable the local administrator password and set it to <blank> and
started over. Problem solved!!

Malke,
BITE ME! It's not your place to tell me where I can post a message!

Thanks anyway!

But you would do well to heed such advice if you wish your questions to be
