Help! I can't add transitions between all slides.

I'm a teacher and I'm trying to make a slideshow for my students of our year
together. I added all of the pictures to the timeline and would like to have
transitions between each of the slides. When I try to add a transition it
will only add to every other slide. Is there something that I can do to get
one between all slides? I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. I
have to have this done by Thursday.

When you drag a transition to the timeline,
you should be able to hold your mouse button
and move your pointer to the position where
the transition is to be placed. As you drag the
pointer across the pictures in the timeline, you
should see a vertical line where the transition
will appear.

You may find it easier on the Story Board.
Just drag and drop between the pictures.
