help!!! I cannot change the background colour of word or outlook

Hi,
I am dyslexic and have been told to make my life a little easier I can
change the background colour on windows and outlook express. Does anyone
know how? and I probably need idiot proof steps!

Right click vacant area of desktop and select "Properties".

Click on "Appearance" tab

Click on "Advanced" button

Look for "Item:" and select "Window" from drop down menu

Select a colour from the little colour box to the right of this line.

Click OK then OK (it will pause for quite a while)

As you will see, you can change quite a lot of things here so
experiment until you get something that suits you.
