Help I am new and I get an alarm after installing a program

I installed one of my programs "Pampered Partner" and suddenly an alarm went off and I can't stop it. I uninstalled the program BUT the alarm continues. I did NOT get any error messages just this alarm. I just got this new computer and my husband installed XP and everything seemed fine until I installed that program. I need to get all my info off this computer and onto the new one ASAP. Any help would be appreciated.
 
Have you tried to back up your info & format the HD, seems
that your internal speaker is jammed for some reason.
