Help!!! I am having lots of problems!!!

First, I can't set my homepage to what I want... at first
it would go to about:blank even after I would set it to
google... now, anytime I restart my computer, there is a
website that says weba.directwebsearch.net When I went
into my Favorites there are 5 porn websites in there that
I DID NOT add. I delete them from my favorites but
anytime I restart my computer they are there... can
anyone tell me how to fix these problems?
 
You need to do a Google search for the about:blank hijacker. Download,
install and run Ad-aware, Spybot Search and Destroy and a good anti-virus
application. A firewall would be a good idea, too.

I had the same problem on my computer. some how your

browser has been exposed to others who have your personal
puter data and can change your homepage, dial out to long
distance porn sites, etc. you need to get yourself a good
spyware program. there a many for free downloads on the
internet. i fixed my problem by getting free spyware (the
one i downloaded was webroot spyware sweeper. i also paid
a one time fee for another download called xoftspy. after
all this mess, i now no longer gave internet explorer ,
because i deleted so much from my files, i must of
deleted part of ie. hope this helps you
