HELP how to reinstall bookmarks.

I was using win98 and had horrible problems so moved to Win XP. Only way to
load XP was to get a new clean load of Win98 which went under
c:\windows.000. Old settings were all under C:\Windows.

Using XP and Explorer 6 I am unable to import the "old favourites". I can
find them using file explorer but not using Explorer import feature.

Help would be appreciated.

If you exported them using IE, the resulting file is bookmark.htm. You
can put the Favorites file itself into documents and settings \
yourname.
