Why does the internet explorer windows switch focus automatically???

I mean, for an example.. just say i've opened up "gmail.com" then made a new
window and went to "hotmail.com" on that new window. Then whilst i'm typing
in my "gmail" logon details, then suddenly in the middle of it the window
just switches focus to "hotmail" window when it finishes loading up "hotmail"
page!!!! doesn't anyone find this annoying???!! this is the most ridiculous
feature they've added to this program. totally unnecessary!

pity this so often doesn't work :-(
ie, even with that set to the default of 200sec, apps still often steal
focus when it has only been a couple of secs since I use mouse (click) or
keyboard. oh, and it is usually MS apps that are doing it :-P

Hi,
If running Windows XP, try the "Prevent applications from stealing focus"
script at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Line 66 right-side.

But, if you minimize the window you don't want to see, it should stay
minimized until you restore it.

Hope this helps,
