HELP!! how do I get merge duplicate apointments

I recently synced my IPAQ with Outlook 2002 and now I have duplicate
apointments shown on both devices. How do I merge apointments, or delete the
duplicate one. Just to clarify, it shows the same daily apointments side by
side like twins on both devices from the time I synced, any new apoitments
made since are correct in only showing the one apointment. I have over a
years worth of old apointments shown as doubles. How do I get everything
back to single apointments.

There are two ways to approach this. One is with a commercial duplicate
eliminator, like the one here:

.. The other is to change your calendar to a list view (like By Category)
and eleminate the dupes yourself.
