What particular version of Word are you trying to use, now? (Word 98
was available *only* for Apple computers, by the way.) If you're
talking about the operating system, Microsoft Word works exactly the
same, regardless of whether it's installed on a Win98 OS or a WinXP OS.
The particular feature you're seeking would still be found in Word's
menu: View > Toolbars > Customize...... Or you could just right-click
on the toolbar in question and select "Customize."
