did that too ... it did manage to save the first flash on the first
page - but the flash on the last page - don't know where that went - it
didn't save it....SO frustrating.....
had to end up saving the last slide with the flash - send just that page
back over to my son, then he copied that last page of correct formating
into his original pp and then put the flash back in that last page...he
then emailed it to me to make sure it worked - it did...have no clue why
that flash wouldn't work from my end...
but thanks for holding my hand
Pam
Saving as 2007 shouldn't matter, but it seems it does in your case.
I would try reopening the 2003 file, making your changes, and re-saving
as 2003 format.

that's what I thought as well - but the flash isn't working when he
opens it..
here's the way it went - he designed it in 2003 .. he sent it to me, I
opened it in 2007, saved it in 2007 and sent it back to him - didn't
work. So I went back in and saved the now 2007 ppt back to 2003 and
resent it to him - still didn't work.
any ideas?
Usually if you save the file, in PPT 2007, as a 97-2003 file format
(*.PPT), the Flash will then work when opened in PPT 2003.

My son designed pp presentation in 2003...sent them over to me (I
have 2007) to add a block of text to it -and then I saved it in 2007
and sent it back - the falsh doesn't work on his end.
So I resaved it from the 2007 file I saved back to a 2003 comp
version and sent it back over to him - still doesn't work.
How do I make sure the flash will work if he sends me the 2003 v - I
save it to a 2003 v - and send it back to him??
Please help asap - of course he needed this yesterday
