Hello all. I went to office update and checked for updates. I found some,
but when I
pushed the "install button," the license agreement doesn't appear. Help. I
have MS office small business on a laptop running Windows xp home.

Have you activated your product first?

This is what is on the screen. I activated my product. The updates are
selected and I already hit the install button. Here is an exact copy of the
text on the screen.

The only thing missing is the license agreement. Please help.

I suggest that you call Microsoft because the Office Update site does not
believe that you have activated 2003. Just choose Activate and go through he
Telephone option which will provide the number to call.

Actually, I have MS office xp. Now what?

No difference. IT MUST BE ACTIVATED. You may choose to activate it through
the Help menu via any of the applications: one activation activates the
whole suite.

I will try and post back.

Do you have a third party firewall installed (not the Windows XP firewall)?
Disable the firewall and then connect to the Update Site , install the
updates and the reactivate the firewall.

No, but I do have AVG antivirus.

I have no idea then. If you are absolutely sure that you have activated the
product and that it is a not a pirate copy version, you will have to raise a
support call with Microsoft direct.
