Last night I tried FIXMBR and FIXBOOT, but there wasn't
any change. It still won't boot and bombs out about 28%
through CHKDSK. Anyone know if what would happen if I
move the connection of the disks from the RAID controller
to the IDE controller?

The IDE controller would see the disks as unformatted. You'd get the "Non
System Disk" message when you tried to boot.

I asked you earlier about your system particulars and you seem reluctant or
unwilling to provide the information. Here's a recap of my previous
response:

It may be possible to recover your data. More information is required.

Motherboard brand, model number and revision.
On board HPT370 controller or PCI add-in card.
Level of BIOS on the motherboard.
Level of BIOS on the HPT370
Version of HPT370 Win2K driver
Brand of hard disks
Size of hard disks
File system in use on the RAID
