HELP: Group by month only

I need to create a report that takes a date field and sorts by month only. I
have tried to do this in the sorting section when creating a report; however,
it also groups by the year as well.

Both Rick and Duane have answered your question. I just have this comment.

Interesting! I've been in the computer business since 1958 and have never
encountered a Report that was sorted by Month but not Year -- a month with
all years, then the next month with all years... very unusual approach.
