I'm not quite sure how, or why this is happening.

I maintain several sites (about 30), hosted by Interland, for a friend of
mine. They are simple site, nothing major.

My problem is this: the main site shows each folder listed 3-4 times, all
with the same content (see attached file). I have no idea how to correct
this. I've called Interland, they're clueless about it and no other site
hosted with them does it.,

HELP!!!!!

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

If you change the contents of one does the contents of the others change
too? (i.e. is the content actually duplicated or is the view of the
contents duplicated when using FP)

If it is the latter, try removing temporary files in FrontPage.

- delete all temp files from IE
- reboot and delete files in your windows temp directory
- find and delete all *.web files on your computer
- from the web, go Tools, Web Settings, Advanced, Delete temporary files.

It sounds just like an error displaying your web via FrontPage, not like
files are acutally there twice. (If they were, they couldnt have identical
names.)

I've un/re-installed the extensions several times, rebooting the server each
time. Still does it. :(

It appears in all the "folders" if I add/delete something.

It appears as if it's just duplicating it in the view and not really on the
server.. but it doesn't do it for all folders, which is what is driving me
nuts.
I've nuked the temps/etc, still duping.

For the heck of it.. I just deleted Temp files and looked for *.web (none
found).. I noticed I had show hidden files selected.. unchecked it.. they
went away... Hmmm... Rechecked it.... the still are not appearing. Hmmmm

It seems 'fixed' for now.. wonder what happened?

Search for and delete the *.web files on your local machine.

You must have Windows Explorer Folder View set to display hidden files or
select to search hidden or system files.
