I 've had my website up and running for about 6 months now with no problems.
All of a sudden I tried to publish a change I had made in the website using
Frontpage 2000 and it's not taking. Why?

Clear your temporary internet files and then check.

By any chance are you using AOL??
AOL caches web pages on their servers.

You may want to check with your web host and see what's going on at their
end.

That was the first thing I did & they keep on telling me to try it now, but
it still doesn't work, even though they know about it

Your home page file name in your disc based web is not named correctly as required by your host)
- contact them to find out if it is index.html or index.htm
In your disc based web rename your home page file name to the correct file name (right click in Folder List) and run a Tools
Recalculate Hyperlinks then republish your site

| Could you explain that in laymen's terms & what I would have to do then?
|
| Thanks

Once you find out what your host requires your home page to be named, open
your local site (the one on your PC), rename your home page to match, let FP
update the links to it, do a Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks, and then
publish.
