Hi, I'm sorry my inexperience.
I use NOD32 latest version and I'd like to scan my HD "C" but I don't like to
scan one folder. In that folder, its name is "sotware", there are many programs
and the scan takes much time.
Can you tell me what I have to do precisely, please?
Load NOD32, go into Threat Protection Modules, then NOD32.
Click "Run NOD32".
Click on the "Profiles" tab and select "Control Center Profile - Local"
from the drop-down menu.
Click on the "Scanning targets" tab and double-click the C: drive to remove
the "tick" from it.
For every folder in your C: that you /do/ want scanned, click on "Add" and
select it, for example, add:
Documents and Settings
WINNT
Program Files
But do not add the folder you do not want scanned, "software".
Click back to the "Profiles" tab, click the "Profiles" button inside this
and select "Save". The settings are now saved and when you run "Local -
Scan local disks" your folder should be excluded.
You should do an "in-depth scan" every now and then (which will scan
"software") to ensure a virus is not hiding somewhere where you don't expect.
