No I can't do anything, it doesn't boot.it turns on and the fans run, that's
it.nothing else, no words, no keyboard function, nothing.the only thing
workings is the monitor.. My computer has been working just fine, not slow
at all..

Hardware failure. There is no way to tell from your post which
component(s). Here are general hardware troubleshooting steps:

Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts
with known-good parts. Unless you or your friend are experienced in
hardware troubleshooting, have her take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigStoreUSA).

thanks so much Malke... No I don't know anything about hardware, if I were
inside windows.. I could probably find the problem.. it's an almost brand
new computer under warranty.. but she has to travel 1 hour to davenport
Iowa.. and does't want to... I am convincing her to do that.. it's under
warranty.. let them fix it and recover her files...Best Buy.. here she
comes!
thanks Rainy
