I upgraded my Windows XP Professional to Windows Vista Ultimate. I am trying
to find the "Media Center" that is being advertised as one of the "big
things" in Vista, but I can not find the link. I clicked on the Start
buttom, and scrolled around, and it is not there... I was wondering if
somebody could help me find the the program.

It should be under Start - All Programs - Windows Media Center

the program is located at
C:\Windows\ehome\ehshell.exe

Dave,

Thank you. It is not under the start all programs... but I will look for it
under the link you provided me.

You have other suggestions, but keep in mind the search function at the
bottom of the start menu. Type Media Center and it should pop up an the
list. This works with any program. Much faster than the start menu IMO.

Dave and others,

Thank you very much for the recommendation. I found the file. However,
once I try launched it I got a message saying that it could not be done,
because of "software restriction policy". I launched the security software
that identifies the restrictions and I have no restriction listed... So I
don't know what to do now... how can I turn the restriction off.... or what
is going on?

In advance, many thanks for your recommendations/suggestions....

Mine wont appear in Search, nor All Programs, and I cant find it in the
Windows directory either...

I found it where they said but I got same message, wouldn't let me run it. I
even tried to run as admin. Help?
