help files NO ACCESS

i am the second or third owner of this pc and I am unable to access the
basics.Defrag is my main concern right now because my memory is too full and
I have unistalled 85% of my programs.

There is no such thing as "memory is too full". You mean you've run out
of space on the hard drive.

With used computers, it is always best to do a clean install of Windows.

What you will need on-hand

You didn't say how large your hard drive is. If it is 10GB or less,
replace it with a larger hard drive (minimum of 30GB, 40GB would be
better if you can even find such a small drive any more).

1. Click Start > Run > Type "cleanmgr" (Without quotes)
2. Choose your drive > Click OK
3. Tick everything but first see *1
4. Click OK
2. Tick "Turn off system restore on all drives" {*2}
3. Click OK > Yes
2. If there are folders like NtUninstallKB..... then see :

2. What is the size of ":Windows\Resources" folder ?


*1 : Don;t tick recycle bin if you have files in it.
Don't tick "Compressed old files"

*2 : Enable System Restore again after defragging.
